New
Software Available
Gage Tech™
is a measurement system
validation tool that calculates Gage Repeatability and
Reproducibility (Gage R&R) for ISO9000, QS9000, and other
quality systems. This program follows the recommended analysis by
the AIAG group, using the X
bar and R
(average and range) statistical method. It includes easy tabs for
setup, data input, data check, report, and charts.
This version of Gage Tech™ is geared to the engineer and/or single user
of the program. All data is stored on the individual's device and
is backed up on the PC during HotSync®. Gage Tech
Professional™ (coming soon)
will
address the needs of the multi-user.
The advantage of Gage Tech™ over common PC programs is the portability
of your Palm handheld device. With the program you can enter your
data using standard methods and get a
good feel for the results RIGHT ON LOCATION. It performs the
calculations, excuding out-of-limit data automatically, and provides
numerical and graphical data so that you know immediately
if your measurement setup will work. Using the program, you can
run your trials, find problems with your setup, tweak the setup, and
run the trials again. It saves costly setup time and money
because you do not have to return to your PC every time to verify your
results.

optimization of code. Requires less memory. Verified for
use on Palm OS (R) Cobalt. Elimated memory constraint of
256k. Minor bug fixes.

Fixed bug in ver. 2.02 that displayed negative numbers as a zero
in OS5 and
Cobalt. Added greyscale icons to support greyscale mode in Cobalt.

ver. 1.04:
Reduced the
opening nag pop up screen from at every launch to one per
day, per customers' requests. Added color icons. Widened
calories field to allow for 5 characters. Misc. minor updates to
subroutines.
As always, your registration key will
work with any new "point" releases (i.e. 1.01 to 1.02).

Pursuit
of Palm Powered Solution(TM)
Creative Algorithms is in the process of verifying all its shareware to
be compliant with PalmSource, Inc.'s Palm
Powered Solution(TM). The Palm Powered Solution(TM) logo can
only be displayed with software that meets these test standards.
Current shareware applications by Creative Algorithms include Date Wheel, Gage Tech, and Serving
Sizer.
