iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) Q:
Where do I find help for Date
Wheel on
the iPhone?
A: Help is located here.
Q:
What's the difference between the Datewheel.net mobile web app and
the native iPhone app?
A: In general, Datewheel.net
web app is ad
supported and does not allow for saving of calcs. The native

internet connection to use the
web app.
The web app is also localized. That feature is pending for future

Q:
Where can I find help for Trip
Boss on

Palm OS Q:
Where
do I find the "PDA Hot Sync User Name or Hot Sync ID" for PalmOS
devices?
A: This user name is located in
the upper right hand corner of
the hot
sync menu (circled in red).
Q: My Palm OS code is not
working.
What can I do?
A: Several reasons may be causing the problem:
1) The code is space and case sensitive. Be sure you
are entering it EXACTLY as you received it.
2) We might have gotten an incorrect Hot Sync User
Name/ID. This ID is also space and case sensitive. If you
are unsure, please send us your ID
again and we will check it against what we have and reissue a new code
if necessary.
3) You might have a space in front of, at the end of, or
in between words of your ID that were not reported to us. The ID
is space sensitive. If you open our application and go to the
registration page, it will show you the ID we are looking for.
Highlight it with your stylus to see if extra spaces are
apparent. Please contact us
if the ID does not match the one you sent originally. Please contact us
and we will work with you to solve the problem. Note: We respond promptly. If you have not been
receiving a response or your registration code (sometimes our email is
"spam filtered") please include your phone
number in the comments. Your phone number will only be
used to respond to a help request, not for solicitation. Be sure
to add "Creative Algorithms" to your spam filter permissions, otherwise
our response (and sometimes your original registration code email) may
not reach your inbox. Q:
How
do
I
register?
A: To register for Palm OS software, click on "Add to Cart" under
the software for which you wish
to purchase a registration. This secure ordering is handled by
Mobihand. When you are done adding software registrations to your
cart, you can then check out (click on "View Cart"). You should
see a registration code in real time on your confirmation page and/or
email receipt. Enter this code from within the application on
your PDA/smartphone. See FAQ below for more details.
Q: How/Where do I enter
the registration code to complete registration?
A: 1) Launch the program on your PDA/smartphone.
2) From the drop down menu, select
"Options" "Registration".
3) You will be prompted with location(s)
for purchasing the product, along with the Hot Sync ID to use when
purchasing your registration. (FYI, you can register at a
different location than where you downloaded the trial.) If
applicable, you may also find a direct "Buy" link to purchase Over The
Air wirelessly. Tap "Done". (or "Buy" if you would like to
purchase wirelessly.)
4) If you have already purchased and
received your registration, you will not need this screen, so tap
"Done" to move onward.
5) The next screen prompts you to enter
your Registration Code. You will have received this via email, or
automatically, if the store you used is set up to provide codes
automatically. (Our website store will provide real time
registration codes after purchase.)
6) Enter it exactly as given--it is
space and case sensitive.
7) Tap "OK". You should receive a
confirmation that you are successfully registered.
Q:
I
did
not
receive my registration code. What can I do? A1: Sometimes the email
of your registration code has been "spam
filtered" by your email client
or service provider. We respond promptly. If you have not
received communication from us, there may be a problem with your email
address, please be sure to:
1) Check that you provided a valid
email address with your order--if it was mistyped, we have no way of
contacting you.
2) Check your spam or junk mail folders to ensure the email from us has
not been accidentally filtered.
3) Add "Creative Algorithms" to your accepted
mail
list,
spam filter permissions,and/or remove us from your
junk list.
4) If you still do not find the message (sometimes spam is configured
to automatically delete), contact us
and provide us with your phone number,
as
well
as
your email address. Your phone number will only be used to contact you to
provide you with your code, in the event that email contact is not
connecting. We will not contact you via phone for updates,
etc. See our privacy policy
for more info.
5) If you do not wish to receive email concerning updates and/or new
releases, be sure to also remove yourself
from
our mailing list.
Q:
I
received
an
email confirming my purchase. Which number is the
registration code?
A: How the registration process works:
1) You complete your order.
2) A receipt for your purchase is sent to you via email automatically,
which includes a real time fulfillment of your registration code.
This should be indicated on the receipt.
3) Creative Algorithms also receives a confirmation email of your
purchase, automatically. Creative
Algorithms
does
not
see your credit card number, only our processor.
5) You receive a second email that contains
your registration code only if the auto fulfillment function is
down.
NOTE: Some distributors/online stores do not yet have auto
fulfillment of registration codes, so you will always receive a second
email with your registration code.
If applicable, you should receive your code shortly after
purchase. However, depending
on the day and time (and time zone) of your purchase, it may take 1-2
business days to
receive your code, but this is a rare occurrence. If you do not
receive your registration code in this time frame, please contact us and provide us with your
phone number in addition to your email addresss (see sixth question).
Q:
Why
am
I
charged
sales tax or VAT?
A: Our credit card processor is located in California and also
overseas, so is
required to collect sales tax on sales in California and also to
collect VAT.
Q:
Can
I
order
over
the phone with a credit card? A: At this time, we are unable to accept credit
cards, except via online. However, we do accept checks for
payment. Please contact us so
that we may provide you with a mailing address and a balance due.
We will ask for your mailing address, your Hot Sync User Name; your phone number;
and your email address (to send your registration key).
Q:
How
do
I
install
downloaded software onto my Palm handheld? A: Please read and/or download our online tutorial.
Q:
What
is
your
refund policy? A: We strongly recommend that you Try Before You Buy.
Since
our PalmOS products are shareware and a 30 day free, fully functional,
trial
is available, returns are usually not accepted on purchased
registrations (via
download).
For PalmOS refunds on downloaded versions after you have received a
registration key, you must fill out our Software Removal Form.
Please contact us to request this form, then complete the form and mail
it to the address given on the form. For legal reasons, we must receive
a hard copy. As soon as we receive the form we will process
the
refund and notify you via email.
Q:
How
do
I
print my expenses/mileage from Trip Boss (PalmOS only)? A: Trip Boss expenses and mileage cannot be print
directly. However, if you export them to memo pad (in CSV
format), then hot sync, you can use the Palm desktop to export the memo
to a file which can be imported into a spreadsheet. From the
spreadsheet, you can format the file and print it. We've provided
a complete online tutorial for
accomplishing this task.

1.0x trip. We recommend that you start a new trip to gain access
to these default places.
Q: Will our

available.
