18-Feb-08 from Barb
I really love this
program. It is definitely the best on the market, and I look forward to
even better future versions!
31-Jan-08 from Scott
I am highly pleased with your customer
service. You truly have gone the extra mile to help me and I
appreciate it. I would recommend your company to my friends.
07-Oct-07 from Chuck
(L)et
me say how impressed I am with your fast response and detailed
information. I can honestly say that this is the most informative
and complete response I have ever received from a help desk. It
is obvious that you were genuinely interested in researching, resolving
and explaining the cause of my issue. Thank you for all of your
efforts!!!!!!!
10-Jul-07 from Jukka T.
As a
Project Manager/Consultant, I am an avid user of Trip Boss and it is
one the main reasons why I continue to keep my Palm Treo and not
switching to Blackberry, even though our local provider cannot give me
push e-mails to Treos.
04-Jul-07 from Terry K.
I am a very happy user of TripBoss 2.05 (with my)
Macintosh... I find the program is excellent when travelling overseas,
for air, rail and bus travel and everything else, including different
currencies. It is a major help to be able to spend money in
different currencies and have them convert to the home currency in
one's budget. Also the time zone changes are very convenient to manage:
I always leave my Palm T5 on the home time, and let TripBoss do the
work in the country I'm in.
In addition, Creative Algorithms had superfast response time when I
sent them a query about Trip Boss.
13-Apr-06 from Dave M.
(I)n my 15 years as a manager of IT services for a large hospital this
has to rank as the best customer service I have seen from any company.
Not only is the program impressive, the customer service is even more
so. Convinced me to buy Trip Boss which I just did!
28-Jan-06 from Scott T.
First off, this is the best $30 I've spent in a long time! Awesome
app! (T)his is a great application and I can hardly wait for the
next update! Hard to imagine how it'll improve. :-)
24-Jan-06 from Homer C.
I really like the program and use it every trip and
every fillup. I am a small business man (Consulting -
Construction) and I need good records and Trip boss does the job.
3-Dec-05 from Steve K., who uses a Palm T|X
Your software runs fine and I can definitely put it
to good use now. I will certainly recommend your company to other
associates not only for the great program but for exceptional customer
service from your company.
22-Nov-05 from M.G.
I have found that the Export utility combined
with Memo/Export allows me to create a very professional looking
Expense Reimbursement Report.
22-Aug-05 from ariel
I really love Trip Boss,
it's a
terrific program. I
use Trip Boss for everything, business travel and planning dream
vacations, it's never let me down! I can keep all my records
straight, and make sure that I don't miss any important sights with the
same program.
6-Aug-05 from E.W.
I have just gotten Trip Boss and it really looks great,
very thorough. I am impressed by how
the modules all work together. The fuel module is better than
what I have been using before.
The expense module worked great the first time I used it. This
program may really help
me keep track of business AND personal travel in the same place (that
has never worked
out before).
I am telling others in my business about this.
Thank you again, this really looks like a neat program. I almost
NEVER write this kind
of e-mail...but your program appears to be very unusual with great
potential to improve
my productivity.
16-Jun-05 from Kate S.
Took this to France on holiday at the last minute absolutely excellent,
especially with the car battery charger!!! We caravan and it is crucial
to be able to estimate how far we can get. I wish I had been able
to read the details more carefully before going!!! I have logged
all expenses and meals etc so have a complete track of expenses on our
holiday.
Well worth it and the amusement in the car!!!!!
9-Jun-05 from VTL
I used Trip Boss for the first time on a recent car trip for a
mini-vacation. It was easy to use and kept track of everything
beautifully. However, I was disappointed when I returned home and began
to make a record of the trip. Turns out that all I can export were the
expenses. I would particularly like to print out the Journal and the
Waypoints. Sure, I can transcribe the data into Word; but it is a lot
of extra work. The program would be perfect if I could export more than
just expenses.
(editor's note: ver. 1.07 added export of waypoints.
Journal export is planned for a future release, which will support
exporting of past trips.)
15-Apr-05 from Michael E.
I downloaded your Trip Boss software. I can appreciate all your
features however, may I make some suggestions?
Those of us on the road every week, need a quick and easy way to enter
and reference our flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.
In other words, your program's databases need fields for airlines,
flight numbers, dates of flights, times of flights, hotels,
confirmation numbers, etc.
We need the basics for quick entry and reference, to keep us organized
while running from one city, to another.
A program called Gulliver had such databases. Unfortunately, the
program did not keep up with the new Palm OS.
Thanks for listening.
(editor's note: The 2.0 update includes the extra
fields as noted, as well as a big improvement to the itinerary
section.)
29-Dec-04 from Jim Begg
"I have both Trip Boss & DateWheel
and am very
happy with them.
You have created two very good applications that I very much enjoy
using - thank you!!
A final point, I am very impressed with your choice of company name -
very clever and in some ways very logical.
Please keep up the good work."
2-Nov-04 from Nemeth Arpad
"I am a frequent traveler. For me is missing a basic checklist
with note for travel plan.
This check list is useful when I plan places what must I visit, meeting
places etc."
(editor's
note: The 2.0 update that includes
a section in the itinerary for planning meetings and appointments, with
the ability to check them off as completed...)
1-Nov-04 from Nemeth Arpad
"This product is COOL.
Very good. Thanks."

13-Jan-07: "I
started using Trip Boss probably about 18 months ago...I'm pretty much
a seasoned traveller and with
that in mind I needed something to help me organise...Up until a week
or two ago I was still using the same version of
the program simply because it was best suited to me and it worked well.
The newer version of Trip Boss...works wonders...(T)his program has
helped me without a doubt...
...Trip Boss...gets a 10 out of 10
for me and probably deserves more because it's helped me out on so many
occasions. If your a seasoned traveler like I am, just part with your
money straight away because this is an essential for every traveler
whether your a businessman or just taking the family away for a 2 week
vacation, this program will save you so much time and effort."

17-Jun-05 "One of
the software
titles that we get an awful lot of recommendations about is Trip Boss.
I used it at the weekend when I travelled to France and I have to say
that for what I wanted it made the cut. It's a good looking program too
and yes it has a lot of features, not all that I require but nice to
know that they are there. I would have to say that in my opinion this
is the best Travel Software program available for Palm and I do not
normally give a high score for software unless it is the best and Trip
Boss is the best. Software needs to be very good to get my
recommendation and this meets my expectations. "
more from Sammy:
"...TripBoss (is) great for

worth the money and a software title that keeps getting updated and
made better all the time. Not that it can be made that much better."

Palm Addict associate writer

on my half-day trip! What I did see, though, I was very impressed with.
This is a program with a very comprehensive feature set, and I can’t
think of anything that I would want to record that I can’t in this
application. Creative Algorithms’ attention to detail is excellent -
they seem to have thought of every piece of data you could possibly
want to keep track of!"...

It is the first application I have reviewed that is so customisable
that each person will use it in a way that suits them and thus
everything I write could be irrelevant to you. What's not irrelevant is
the fact that it will serve you well and a quick download is very much
recommended...

I was devastated last December when I
traded my
Treo 300 for a 650 & discovered that expense management was no

Intuitive, relatively small, easy to sync & back up ... just great!

"I've cruised several times so have experience with cruising without
TripBoss. I loved being able to keep plane schedules, embarcation
information and even excursion details close at hand. When, schedules
changed it was a snap to update the information....While I didn't get
the chance to use it yet, the "what gifts to give" and "business
etiquette by country" will definitely be a must have for international
travelers. I also used and loved the "how much to tip" function ...
taxis, hotel staff, restaurants, airline curb check-in were a breeze."

"Very
Impressive
Package"
"I've looked high and low for a travel expense
package and
finally gave up and wrote my own using SmartListToGo. SW written by
someone else, IMO, usually lacks
in some areas for what you need it to do. But I have yet found anything
lacking in
TripBoss - easy to quickly enter info, complete expense & itinerary
& notes functions.
Plus a nice expense report export (or beam) feature that is cumbersome
with SLTG. I still have a few
weeks to play with it for free before deciding on this or my own, but
compared to all the other
packages out there, I see no comparison. Trip Boss is truly the Boss!"

v2.0:
(more details)
Revamped itinerary entry:
Added new itinerary types: Flight, Lodging, Car
Rental, Bus Ride, Drive, Cruise, Train Ride, Meeting, and Other (the
old itinerary type for freeform itinerary entry)
Added new fields to each itinerary type:
air/bus/cruise/train line, flight/bus/ship/train number or name, seat
number, class (first, business, coach), seat position (aisle, middle,
window), gate/stop number, and meals in flight.
Combined departure and arrival fields into one
itinerary entry screen.
Made the "from" airport (place) in all new flights
always default to the last "to" airport. Likewise for cruises,
driving, bus, and train rides. This improves data entry for
multiple-leg journeys such as connecting flights.

Added icons for itinerary types.
Added check boxes for marking completed itineraries.
Added controls for quickly jumping to the current
day's itineraries or first incomplete itinerary.

table.
Added a filter to view only selected itinerary types.

what fields are displayed in the itineraries table for each itinerary
type.

only show one entry in the itineraries table.
Backward compatible with older itineraries.
Added more information/wording in export to datebook
entry.
Added over 300 default places including airlines,
airports (including airport codes), rental car companies, hotels, and
rail, bus, and cruise lines. Most of these default places include
up-to-date contact information such as web address and phone number.
Added "code" field to places to support airport, city, or train station
codes. Note for
updating from 1.0 to 2.0: 300+ default places will not be
available when using
"Copy Trip" with a 1.0x trip. We recommend that you start a new
trip to gain access to these default places.

Added function for entering
Places directly via the
Ratings tab.

drop down menus are now searchable by entering the first letter of an
item in the list to make it quicker to find things in lists.
